Also be sure that if you use classic minecraft launcher, to use standalone profiles, that are setupped with custom directory in profile editor. As syncthing works with "peers" not a simple client/server architecture, you will need to mark on your peer (on the minecraft server host) that your shared folders are "send-only" in order to avoid.
